Yikes!

We went on a Cat Walk today. I have a leash. Mom puts it on me when we go for walks outside. Sometimes we walk for blocks. I use to wonder why she wouldn’t let me roam on my own, but then I saw a big coyote almost face to face. Mom told me that was the very reason she has to be with me outside. Looking at its fangs, I now know I don’t want to be its lunch…but hey, that must be how I make that little mouse feel I keep seeing in the garage, I just want to play…

I have a girlfriend, and hope soon to have a house mate for life...

Lisa, my girlfriend, is about to have kittens. Not mine, as I am neutered because my mom is responsible and knows how many cats out there need homes. but I will raise them as my own, as I have done a lot in the past. She is sure a looker, but she was homeless before she came to us, and she will get spayed after this litter. I will get mom to take a picture of us, so I can show you all how beautiful she is. We clean each other and she helps me to feel good. I know she will be okay with a new kitty in the house…I have already told her about the donor cat (the one I will get my new kidney from) coming home with us. I have been dreaming of another cat already…I think it is him. I am eating very well today, everything seems to taste good. Oh, here’s comes mom with my daily pills. I think she said its potassium and some immune booster. I don’t mind, she gives them to me in a green/white thing called a piller. I have always taken pills easily for mom, just part of my job!

I am a well travelled cat...

I sure miss my doctor, Dr. Alton Raymond @ Wellness Animal Clinic in Davis, California. I haven’t seen him in awhile because it is a 4 hour drive, and I hear from mom that gas prices are through the roof. I hope to see him again, he is so wonderful. He does a program there my mom said is called Bicom. It feels so good I fall asleep in Dr. Raymond’s hands. It also helps with my kidney values. I love the drive up there; I have always loved car/truck rides. My mom sets up Rizo’s Tacoma with my litter box and carrier and away we go. She lets me out in the king cab part and I set up in the window and meow at the truck drivers. I have been honked at by the big rigs…so much fun!
